Helen Martin Brooks was a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, servant, and most importantly, she was a Child of God. Helen Martin Brooks was an educator in the public-school sector for 30 years. She had a passion for teaching.

Helen Martin Brooks graduated from Claflin College, now Claflin University, with a degree in Elementary Education and she obtained her Master’s in Education from South Carolina State College, now South Carolina State University in 1972. The foundation was inspired by Helen Martin Brooks and her love of our Lord and Savior, people, Education, family and friends. Helen Martin Brooks leaves a legacy of dedication, determination, service and love for all people.
